In the centre of the antique dealers neighbourhood, the ‘Place du Grand Sablon’ is home to one of the oldest markets in Brussels: the Sablon Antiques Market. It’s a quaint little market with a lively buzz to it, and it’s been around since the sixties. This is where the ‘Sablon’ antique dealers sell the very best of their silverware, jewellery, showcase pieces, ceramics and glassware, tableware, paintings and drawings, but also china, small pieces of furniture and African art. They will chat with you about the history of their unusual objects, which may well end up being added to your collection, or bringing a personal touch to your home. Wander around the ‘Sablon’ market in Brussels and enjoy the charm and quality of everything it has to offer. Let yourself be drawn into the authentic, traditional and friendly atmosphere that attracts both foreign and local amateurs and experienced bargain hunters.

This market clearly stands at the crossroads of tradition and modernity. Place du Grand Sablon – Saturday 9 am to 5 pm and Sunday 9 am to 3 pm.
