Located on Place de la Vieille Halle aux Blés, in the Saint-Jacques neighbourhood, just a stone’s throw from the Grand-Place, Chemistry & Botanic’s is an independent cocktail bar where creativity meets technical precision and botanical inspiration.
In a warm, intimate atmosphere, its bartenders craft signature cocktails, seasonal creations and alcohol-free cocktails using carefully selected ingredients, infusions, homemade syrups and innovative mixology techniques.
Recognised and award-winning expertise: the team includes several winners of professional competitions, including Larry Godefroid, named Belgium’s Best Bartender in 2024. Team members have also won the Shaker d’Or competition organised by Distillerie de Biercée in 2025 and 2026, as well as awards for technical excellence. Chemistry & Botanic’s has also been featured in Gault&Millau’s cocktail bar selection every year since it opened.
The bar has been awarded the Brussels Shopping Label, recognising its contribution to Brussels’ vibrant retail and hospitality scene. It is also a member of the City of Brussels’ official Dog Friendly Place network, warmly welcoming guests accompanied by their dogs.
