Born of the slightly mad idea of combining artisan bread-making and cheese ripening in the same place, Maison Barat is both an artisan baker, making and baking traditional breads on the premises using CRC flours and natural yeast, and a cheese-maker where each cheese is matured and cut by hand, all from small, hand-picked producers.
