Dive into the world of cocoa and chocolate, walk through a Mayan temple where cocoa beans were consumed 5,000 years ago, and board the ship of Cortés that brought cocoa beans to Europe. Discover how chocolate was consumed at the French Court in the 17th century and how it was shaped into « praline » at the beginning of the 20th century in Belgium. The culture of cocoa and its transformation will hold no more secrets for you. Demonstration, tasting, and an audio guide (available in 11 languages) are included in the visit.
Choco Story Brussels also organizes tablet workshops every day at 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:30 PM.
In the museum shop, you will find handcrafted pralines and chocolates from different origins, which you will have had the chance to taste during your museum visit.
Choco Story Brussels works with sustainable cocoa bearing the Cacao Trace label.
