The restaurant in the Palais des Beaux-Arts finally opened its doors at the end of 2010. Ten years of waiting since the closure of the former Brasserie des Beaux-Arts, on the rue Baron Horta. The aim was to restore the premises to the way they were in 1928, when the Palais was inaugurated, while equipping them with all the latest technology meeting modern standards. In the case of the restaurant, the task was made easier by the fact that the architect had an excellent photo of the original brasserie and enough of the original fittings to restore Victor Horta’s shine.
