Description

Emile Houbion, 1903 | On the ground floor of a large 19th century classical building, the Falstaff café was created in a curious mix of styles. It features Art Nouveau ornamentation for the two rounded display windows and the entrance door, while the marquee is made of Art Deco American glass. Art Nouveau stained glass adorns the upper corners of the windows. The vertical sign is typically Art Deco. The interior is a blend of styles, from Art Nouveau to 19th century eclecticism. ©admirable-facades.brussels
