Avenue Louise forms a three-kilometre-long straight line linking the lively upper city area with the more peaceful ‘Bois de la Cambre’.
The first 500 metres of the quartier Louise in Brussels are dotted with a multitude of shops on both sides of the avenue. There are luxury boutiques, but also more affordable high-street names selling clothes, shoes, jewellery and homeware. An increasing number of bars, cafés and lunchtime restaurants have been setting up business here.
It’s a great place for people who work in the neighbourhood to have a rest between two bouts of shopping, or for their lunch break.
