Looking for an activity for this Saturday afternoon? Head to downtown Brussels and follow the Public Readers Brigade to discover books related to Brussels, new shops, and new authors. An event organized in collaboration with the Book Fair as part of the « Do You Read Belgian? » campaign.
Public readings in shops this Saturday, November 23rd, in Brussels
The traveling Public Readers, a concept straight from... Montreal.
The public readers are passionate about literature and improvisation. They move to public places, here, shops, to meet passersby and customers, and read them carefully selected book excerpts. If the reading pleases the listener, they might even go home with a free book.
A unique and sometimes surprising way to spend time.
