If you also have a soft spot for Brussels, the Jacqueries are for you!
The Saint-Jacques district: The village in the heart of Brussels
The Saint-Jacques district is the village in the heart of Brussels. It features Manneken Pis, Madame Chapeau, Jacques Brel, the AB, and the Rainbow House.
It is also home to artisans, designers, and unique shops that are so quintessentially Brussels, catering to collectors, foodies, comic book enthusiasts, music lovers, party supplies seekers, vintage aficionados, as well as authentic taverns, trendy bars, and fine restaurants, all set in pedestrian streets with typical facades.
In short, a village with a vibrant and talented population, where people love each other in rainbow colors.
Let's stroll through the city
The ambition of the festival is to give Brussels residents a renewed desire to stroll through their city. To offer a festival in the alleys, to make people laugh, to discover shops, to tell the history of the district and its streets, to talk about stoemp and meatballs, to eat caricoles from the cart, to drink a good beer, to listen to Brel and others…
And throughout the weekend, more than a hundred artists, comedians, musicians, zwanzeurs, singers, and dancers will make this festival an unmissable event.
The grand sale of the Jacqueries
The Jacqueries are also an opportunity to enjoy the grand sale! Nearly 50 shops open their doors for great deals, including on Saturday and Sunday.
