It’s the shopkeepers who bring cities to life. And Brussels is no exception. What would it be without its varied shops? Without its neighborhood cafés or specialty coffee shops? Without its artisans who create, innovate, and share their expertise? And what about its numerous restaurants, whose offerings so well represent the diversity of Brussels? It is to honor all these businesses that make Brussels vibrant that we have been certifying them annually since 2015.
This year, the jury was composed of five Brussels personalities and the Entreprendre Bruxelles team to select the certified businesses. They were grouped into four categories, which you are invited to discover in this article.
Brussels craftsmanship and know-how.
It can’t be hidden: craftsmanship and know-how have made Brussels the city we love so much today. This is evident from the street names that punctuate the streets of the capital’s center: rue des teinturiers, du marché au fromage, rue au beurre. It is also evident from the quality of the products, the expertise passed down through generations, and the curiosity of our artisans who adapt to events and trends. Here are the businesses that have been certified in this category:
– Lunetier Ludovic
– Sample Slow Jewelry
– La Maison des Poivres MISAO
– Els Vansteelandt Jewellery & Art
– L’abeille Blanche
– Oliverda
– King’s and Queens Café
