We've been waiting for La Dalle to return to Brussels!
After last year’s success, we wanted to bring La Dalle back to Brussels this year and expand the project. So the brains behind La Dalle have created THE trendy guide to Brussels: Emile.
Emile is your hip, ultra-connected buddy who knows Brussels like the back of his hand: its most legendary places, its latest shining stars and its best-kept secrets. As the 1000 district (Brussels) is his regular haunt, Emile has come up with a number of themed routes that combine a feast for the senses with a (re)discovery of the city’s emblematic district.
But what is a "La Dalle" tour?
La Dalle is one of our favourite concepts. When you book a La Dalle tour, you’re in for an evening packed with surprises, with at least three stops in bars and restaurants across the capital. You whet your appetite with an aperitif in one place, walk to another to taste its speciality, and so on. Everything is kept secret until the moment you arrive, so all you have to do is let yourself be guided via a smartphone app.
La Dalle was first launched in 2020. It’s the brainchild of Sarah and Thierry, from Balance Eventsan events company that was hit by the Covid crisis and has now gone all in with this new project, with one main objective: to create unforgettable experiences and feelings, all thanks to local businesses.
Since then, there have been several editions of “La Dalle”. Last year, in partnership with Entreprendre Bruxelles, a new edition took place in the city centre, generating over 7,000 tastings in secret, trendy or iconic Brussels restaurants.
This year, Entreprendre Bruxelles wanted to expand the concept. Balance Design has created local guide Emile, who will be offering exclusively food-related La Dalle tours, as well as other routes based on other themes (well-being, second-hand goods, etc.)
How does it work?
Are you never sure which restaurant to choose? Why not try them all in one meal?
Following Emile x La Dalle, you could whet your appetite with a Lebanese dish, before sampling a Thai speciality and finishing off with a French delicacy. In short, it’s a culinary tour on foot where you can explore the restaurants and iconic districts of Brussels.
