Join us on the Place du Jeu de Balle terraces on Thursdays!

Marolles

Looking for something to do on a Thursday evening this summer? How’s this for a special night out? Come and enjoy the many terraces on the famous Place du Jeu de Balle, at the heart of the emblematic Marolles district! The square’s various bars welcome you in a relaxed, musical atmosphere.

Laid-back terraces and a musical atmosphere are on the agenda

Every Thursday throughout the summer, the four corners of the Place du Jeu de Balle will be transformed into terraces, much to the delight of those looking for a trendy place to spend their Thursday evening. Deckchairs, large tables, parasols… everything you need for a great, relaxed time, right in the heart of Brussels. Concerts are scheduled every Thursday at 7pm, with entertainment before and after by various artists and performers.

A free, recurring event open to all

Every Thursday throughout the summer, we look forward to welcoming you to the Place du Jeu de Balle, at the heart of Les Marolles, the echt Brusseleir district par excellence. The terraces are open from 6.30pm to 10pm and the bands will be performing from 7pm to around 9pm.

And if you want don’t want the evening to stop there, you can always move on to one of the many bars and restaurants in the area!

Please note! There will be no guinguette on the 18th July, as the square prepares to host the Fête Nationale festivities, which take place in the district every year. Find out more about this event: https://www.balnational.be/

Music will be played outside for all passers-by to enjoy. If you want something to eat or drink, purchase your food from the vendors and then take a seat on the “guinguette” terraces! For a taste of what’s to come, check out the participating vendors below:
